Stumptown, Gonzo Style

Last weekend I attended the Stumptown Comics Fest 2011. I had previously written a promotional piece for it as an assignment from the Yahoo! Contributors Network (here). I’d later done a few post on Dawni’s wall in Facebook. And I’m going to be doing a multi-part series on YCN recounting my experiences there. While these will be a bit more gonzo than most of my articles, I also wanted to do a photo journal of the event, something beyond the scope of YCN submissions.

What follows is basically a photo journal of the two day event.

Artist Steve Lieber with his new book, “Underground” (a collaboration with Jeff Parker). I’ve been a fan of his work since “Whiteout” (which was much better than the Kate Beckinsale movie made from it).
